Representative Francis Rooney is a traitor. His goal is to undermine Mueller’s credibility and if he can bring down the FBI in the process, so be it.
He and those who are also willing to undermine America’s faith in our judicial system, the FBI, and anyone who is further delving into the relationship of this Administration with the Russians is, in effect, willing to sacrifice the good of our country for the favor of this President.
Shameful. un-American and, in effect, cowardly.

Gerry Manning Thanks, Tom. This is a resume that shouts out above the slanderous noise, mewlings, and pukings of the Smearing Sycophants who pollute the Republican Party. I’m hopeful that responsible Republicans will find the political and personal courage to silence the bilious blatherings of those who would sacrifice the integrity of this nation for the favor of this Administration’s self-defense allies. The two sides within the Republican party are at war with one another. We can only hope that the intelligent, truly patriotic wing of veteran lawmakers will prevail over the smut being spread by their own opposition. This is a time in the history of this nation when truly qualified, strong, intelligent and fundamentally truthful leadership can emerge to bring our nation together for a common cause in the betterment of our wounded society.
Gerry Manning And to my Democratic Party fellows, this message applies equally. Let the truth prevail. Find a means to bridge the Great Divide. If it means working with the Republican leadership (not caving to Trumpism), just get to it. If we are a true nation, a true Republic, we are bound to one another in a common purpose. So, Democrats who wish to ride on the smear-Trump bandwagon, beware… This may seem to be the ticket to triumph, but I fear it may be a one-way ticket to defeat.
